This is the official site for Papua New Guinea Grade 12 school leavers and current non-school leavers (NSL students) applying for admission into registered in-country Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). By Law, the Department of Higher Education Research Science and Technology (DHERST) is mandated to facilitate a transparent efficient national admission of students into registered (PNG) higher education institution. The National Online Application System (NOAS) is the application portal for all applicants. DHERST encourages all prospective applicants to fully utilize this platform for potential selections and admission.
This year's NOAS applicants will have access to viewing new academic programmes from registered HEIs. A number of new full-time ONLINE programmes are also now available for students wishing to study off-campus in 2026 onwards. Student applicants are encouraged to carefully consider both on-campus and full-time online programmes when applying. 2025 APPLICATION CYCLE FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2026
TODAY'S ANNOUNCEMENT: COUNT DOWN TO 2025 NOAS GRACE PERIOD
1. NOAS student portal is now active. Grade 12 student applicants and NSL applicants (with invitation letters) can now access NOAS- MyStatus and MyData.
2. NOAS Grace Period commences on 8th December 2025.
3. Grace Period ends on 14th December, 11:59PM.
4. Invalid login: Applicants experiencing difficulties logging in, please contact the NOAS Support team to register and activate your account.
5. NO NSL new applications will be accepted during Grace Period.
